This Month's Reader Comments

Hello David,

Your newsletters have been a wealth of information for us as we begin incorporating voluntouring opportunities into our inbound and outbound programs.

We are also working with Habitat for Humanity in Canada to offer programs around the globe, which is exciting for us as it allows us to continue to give back.

Beth

Beth,

We appreciate your feedback. The newsletter is a work in progress, as you know, but it is wonderful to hear that it is supporting you in making VolunTourism a reality for your operations.

WEEKLY WEBCAST

Tuesdays 10am ET/7am PT

As Tour Operators begin to incorporate these programs into their existing portfolios, I think we will begin to hear even more enthusiastic responses like this one that you offer.

Let us know if there are other items of interest and/or questions that you have that we can address in future editions of The VolunTourist.

Thanks Dave – I really enjoy the newsletter and have added voluntourism to my course – so far so good!

Professor David Truly

Professor Truly,

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I am sure that the students at Central Connecticut State University are realizing that tourism is much more than "Bed & Breakfasts" in New England, thanks to your efforts to incorporate VolunTourism into their studies.

If your students have a question about VolunTourism, have them send it along and we will address it in a future edition of The VolunTourist.
